• Underwriting & Risk – personal or commercial lines, multi-line underwriting, risk assessment, pricing, renewals, portfolio management and reinsurance support
• Claims – claims assessment, claims handling, policy interpretation, settlement, loss adjusting and claims operations
• Insurance Broking & Client Management – broking, account management, policy placement, renewals and commercial client servicing
• Customer, Sales & Business Development – insurance consulting, customer service, broker relationships, SME/commercial relationships and business development
• Risk, Compliance & Governance – regulatory compliance, operational risk, controls, quality assurance and assurance activities
• Insurance Operations – policy administration, renewals, endorsements, documentation, technical support and process improvement
• Product, Data & Digital – insurance products, pricing, analytics, insurance systems, digital platforms and emerging technology

Across these areas, we value people who bring strong analytical and commercial judgement, customer and stakeholder relationship skills, attention to detail, sound decision-making, communication and negotiation capability, regulatory awareness, and confidence working with technology and business systems.

Relevant insurance industry qualifications such as ANZIIF/CIP or other professional qualifications are advantageous, as are qualifications in business, finance, accounting, economics, risk or related disciplines. However, practical industry experience and demonstrated capability will also be strongly considered.
