Maintenance Officer

Maxumise invites Expressions of Interest from capable individuals for the position of Maintenance Officer.

This role suits a practical, hands-on individual who can manage a wide range of maintenance tasks across facilities.

You will take ownership of day-to-day upkeep and ensure all assets remain safe, functional, and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance across buildings, equipment, and facilities
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting work
• Identify faults and complete repairs in a timely manner
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records
• Coordinate with external contractors where required
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
• Respond to urgent maintenance issues as they arise

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in general maintenance or similar role
• Practical skills across multiple trades
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues independently
• Strong problem solving and time management skills
• Physically fit and able to perform manual work
• Basic understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
